I know it can be odd and sometimes frustrating to request the same service from multiple people and receive different results and different prices — but that’s how the creative industry is. I use the context of the brief to determine pricing. Some examples of what I take into consideration are: What is this for? Who is this for? When is it needed? What style? How detailed? What medium? What is the value my work will bring to my client?

Honestly, I think I’m drawn to people’s reactions to something weird. The nervous laughter, the 90 degree head turn, the inevitable question of “what is that?”. For my clients this ends up being able to own something unique, original, and memorable.

Most of them are yes. I began as a painter and illustrator using more traditional fine art tools. These days I use the fundamentals and techniques I’ve learned, and apply them to digital drawing. I really enjoy digitally drawing because I am able to do it faster, at higher res, and in any location.
